Phil Walls, Roy Bodger, Fred Hamarlund and Doug Pockett managed to scratch out enough of their bad scores to end up with 121 for their two low net score round today!

Al Jakel, Dave Hay, Don Puhach and Bart Bye managed to come in second with a great 123 They were in show off mode after the announcement!


Ken Robertson, John French, Jorgen Sveistrup and Fred Persello came third!

Now you know they are related - John Campbell won the Long Drive by crushing John Dumont and then added insult to injury by scorching and taking the KP for the Low Handicap Group!


Fred (The Hammer!) Hamarlund and Jorgen Sveistrup were the KP and Long drive winners respectively for their flights and they celebrated accordingly - when we left they were still trying their best to be cool!

Weldon Steel Results at Kamloops August 6

This was the kind of competition we faced at Kamloops - Tosh Takenaka, Walter Giesbrecht, Glen DiGregorio, and Pyara Latoy were tougher competition that this picture represents!




Dave May, Ken Robertson, Rick Baker and Rob Egan represented Eaglepoint and Baker at last came through - he and Egan won their back nine and over all - Robertson and May had the wheels fall off after taking the front nine they celebrated way to early! And as you can see from Robertson's swing there is no glory there! So overall we tied Kamloops 6 to 6! Thanks to Egan and Baker
who had to drag May and Robertson around the course!

Low Nets in the first flight were first John Dumont - John French and John St. Louis tied for second!

Larry Sill was jumping about coming in second to Ian Jaques who felt a hoody was in order for his smooth Low Gross 77 - Sill hopped to an 80!

KP's were recorded by John St. Louis in the first flight and Bob Helfrich in the second flight. They both missed their putts!
