March 30 Results

It was one of those ordinary days on the golf course!
Click on the guy on the tire to see how we played around!

We had 6 Gals
out today and we had 8 guys out!
Some of the guys were strange to say the least!

It was a dog eat dog kind of day on the course!
Match Play and LOSERS bought lunch for the WEINERS!
John Dumont took losing to Keith (Never misses a putt!) like a real pro!
Larsen (when he had hair!) was quite debonair in winning!

Dave Asmus lost a hard fought battle to  one of our
Junior Seniors
Ian seemed to take the win quite handily!

Robertson found Charlie Malloy easy pickings
and left him sleeping on the street!

John French and the old gorilla (Angus Gouthro) but don't tell him that Laura said to call him that!
had a hard fought round but they ended up tying it up and it was like kissing your sister!

Apparently a tough way to play!

The Gals fought real hard but sad to say 1/2 of them looked like this when it was over!

Somewhere in there you can find Del Macready, Laurel Gouthro and Shirley Wicklund!

As you can see Heather Heron, Audrey Faulkner and Tave Dandy managed to squeeze out a victory and got themselves some free lunches!

So my dang camera broke down - I should have used some Angus Gouthro four letter friend getters to make it work but he makes his golf balls listen and my camera says DUHHH!

So listen up -
the OFFICIAL START OF SENIORS Golf

Is
Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 AM!
Shotgun start!
Foursomes will be drawn from a hat and the game is probably going to be some variation of UGLY BALL!
Bring your game face to the greens!

There is no charge except for weekly prizes - $6.00
Al Jakel will be running away with your money and
Dave Hay
(He got a new knee!)
and his side kick
Larry Sill
will be in charge of rules, regulations, handicaps and overall alcohol consumption on off and around the clubhouse!

We know everybody hates what they organize and plots to get revenge but remember my camera broke down and so this is the best revenge I could think of!
See you on the course before we see you under it!

March 22

Welcome to the new faces (mostly new) in the clubhouse and on the course!

Wayne Hall joins us as the new Head Honcho and Club Pro!
He is looking forward to meeting all the seniors and says his grey brown hair qualifies him to join us on Wednesdays!
Does this poor man know what would be in store for him?
Stay tuned!
Oh and a previous knowledgeable person sent in this picture to show us that Wayne does not always dress or act conservatively!

Wayne in his earlier career apparently!

We also welcome Rochelle Baril who hails from the Wolf Creek Golf Resort in beautiful downtown Ponoka, Alberta!

She manages the Club House and you better step lively around her or else Bub!
Again we luckily were pre-warned and send you this photo to prove there ain't no dang fooling around anymore in the Clubhouse!
In case you don't notice it that is a beautiful over and under that she's aiming right at your sensitive areas!

Our Chef this year is Marc Simpson and he is apparently fluently bi-lingual so he and Angus Gouthro will get along famously!
Marc guarantees that we will be amply rewarded after a tough day on the course and I managed to get a picture of him setting up for a typical Seniors' lunch item!
Marc will win your affection through your stomach!
Returning from last year as one of our popular serving gals is Jessica Colman!
Jessica says that she was weight lifting especially for this season as she knows she has a heavy load to carry as she has to lift all the stuff the bosses order her to! So she provided a photo to prove she was going to WOMAN up to the situation!
Wow Jessica we can see you are really going to lift the load this year!

Returning as usual in the Pro Shop is John St Louis Jr.
(the only real worker in the shop at the moment!)
John is looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday mornings and says he has a lot of wares on display and sent me a special photo to prove it!
Thanks John but actually you have too many wares!
Where is Cecil Simpson when you need him?
Rounding out our visit to the clubhouse today were two of the usual suspects!
Baker and Jakel!
You know what these two clowns will be up to don't you?
Hold the action right there!
Actually I got a picture of Jakel taking care of our money earlier!
He claimed he was just getting some balls (about time too!) but I think he was off and running with the club treasury!
See you on Saturday and if you have any indecent or salacious stories or pictures of any Club members that has happened or might happen or you wish would happen to them please let me know and I will make sure you get your just desserts!

Eaglepoint Is Officially Opening on Saturday, March 26!

How can you tell winter is over?
Let's hope your heart can handle the stress!

Well we are almost finished digging out!

Some of us spent the winter relaxing!
Others had it pretty tough golfing!
Dave Barker had a tough winter!
Robertson spent his time honing his hole in one skills!
Some Seniors may need to be reminded that the season starts on March 26 at Eaglepoint!
So get out there and get a Tee Time organized and we hope to see you on the course!
The characters that run these sorts of things will soon let us know when the real Seniors Days begin - sharpen up your pencils and make sure you have good erasers to help your game!
JUST DON'T GET IN OUR WAY!

Oh and welcome Wayne Hall as our new Club Pro!
The Driving Range is now open!

We welcome all 50 to 55 year olds as Junior Seniors and they are allowed to play with us but can't enter tournaments or represent the Club in Seniors's Golf
Competitions!
Ladies are especially invited to join - we organize the foursomes by a random draw each week so there is no need to "Know anyone!" and that way you don't have to listen to Robertson bore you about his (may I say in my humble opinion!) magnificent Hole in One he recorded this past winter in California!
