Eaglepoint Seniors Also Rans on September 30

This is just a collection of some of the riff raff who attended - hooted and hollered and then went home none the wiser for their strenuous efforts!
Thanks to the bottom duo of Cec Simpson and Doug L'Ecuyer for their work in supporting us poor old seniors through another hard luck season!

Seniors will continue with a 9:00 AM start on Wednesdays till snow or frost kicks us off the course!

Seniors Championship Second Flight Winners?

Rick Baker and Jim Mitchell came First and Third Low Grosses in the Second Flight - they made a handsome pair as they left for an evening's frolic!

Poor John French - he was simply hopping as he felt his Second Place Finish would have given him a chance at an evening out with the girls!

Warren Cross managed to hang about long enough to take first low net in the Second Flight!

Fred Persello gave his all and then after the frolicking was over he settled for a nice lay down and rest with his great Second Place Low Net in the second flight.

Jack Matthews went all out and really looked the part in taking his

Third Place Finish Low Net in the second flight!

Eaglepoint Seniors Championship 1st Flight Low Gross and Low Nets

First Flight Low Gross Winners were Ian Jacques who shot a scintillating Gross 82 and then went and parked his cruiser in typical "Force" fashion!

Big Bad John Campbell came in second with a Low Gross of 82 - he missed his putt as you can tell by the expression on his keester! Too bad Big Bad - retrogression scoring sucks!

Terry Haines managed to even do worse - he came third on retrogression and how do you explain his reaction? Oh well 82 Low Gross and only cops and prison guards to beat!

Ron Hamilton won Low Net with a 71 in the first flight and really enjoyed celebrating his win!

Rob Egan managed a sweet 2nd Place Low Net and took his sheep home for comfort!

Larry Sill was really pleased to be able to manipulate the scoresheets and rode home a winner of Third Place Low Net in the first flight - Everyone else thought he got beaten like a RENTED MULE!

September 30 Eaglepoint Seniors Championship!

Eaglepoint winning Senior - Fossil of the Year 1- awarded to Butch Beblow as the greatest poobah and grand golfer of the year with a low gross of 79 ! He had to hurry home so he took a carriage ride down the hill!

Fred Hamarlund managed to shake enough sand out of his socks to record a Low Net of 68 and was given the LOW NET award - he happily accepted it!

He had to go out and get a new T-shirt made up for the big night of his win!

September 23 Winners?

Larry Sill was happy to announce the winners as he was one of them!

These are the cardinal rules of what happens on the golf course.

John Campbell, Larry Sill, Bob Peace and Ken Robertson won the big prize and were really excited about it! Net 122!

Dave Hay, Angus Gouthro, Rick Baker and Don Puhach were sort of out of their tutus coming in second with a net 126.

Rob Egan, Fred Hamarlund and Warren Cross came in third with a net 129 and actually bowling could be their game!

Here is what the rest of the teams looked like after the prizes were awarded!

John Campbell won the weekly token and here is what the girls apparently measured as to how close to the cup he came on a number of occasions today!

Or were they measuring some part of his anatomy? We'll never know!

Al Jakel, Fred Hamarlund, and Rick Baker managed to win the Deuce Pot!

Wednesday September 30 - Seniors Championship!
8:30 am - shotgun - probably a mixed up foursomes tour - full competition rules - no lift and place and no "gimmes!" (This shouldn't be happening anyway right?!) Wonderful? prizes and lots of wild women!
