August 26 Deuces and Token of Week

Dave May managed to post a net 9 on a "Par 3?" - anyway the course was in rough shape and he had to work really hard to get there! HE won the weekly token to the driving range!


Ian McAndrew was all smiles cause after his deuce he gets to go home and shoot ducks from his hot tub!







Butch stepped up and got a deuce then took his putt putt home




Ian Jacques managed a deuce but had to leave early to get his car in order!



Bruce Craigs was not so serious when he played his round and his moustache and hair were a little grayer after the round!

August 26 two teams tied for Second spot 8 strokes behind the winners!

John Campbell, Rob Egan, Holly Simpson, and Warren Cross managed to tie with Fred Hamarlund, Ian McAndrew, Terry Haines and some other dude! They all complained about how bad a day they had but they still dragged home some easy money!

August 26 Winners - Team Low Net 1 - 2 - 3

Rick Baker and Bart Bye were nonchalant in accepting their ill gotten gains as they sort of ho hummed it through the day and managed an 8 point victory!



Al Jakel and Ley MacMillan were dragged along for the ride by Bart and Rick - Ley managed to avoid laughing outright but it is obvious the boys were on their game today! Well done gentlemen if one can use that term loosely!

Weldon Steel from Eagle River in Sicamous August 20 Apologies!

Jorgen Sveistrup was ready for the game at Eagle River!

Dave Hay, John French, Al Jakel and Jorgen left at 7:30 am on Thursday and unfortunately had to wait about an extra 1/2 hour as one of their opponents went missing but the club managed to get another guy in as a spare and they played the great little course - lots of big cottonwoods to contend with but they had a great time!


John was really intense at practice and so was Al!


The course was in great shape and they all enjoyed the game -
but they got

"BLARM'd"

again!

Beaten Like A Rented Mule! It is not true - the team won the 2 course match 6 1/2 points to 5 1/2 points and only John French and Jorgen Sveistrup got BLARM'd!

Thanks for taking the pounding for us guys and let's hope we see you out again next year!

August 19 all the rest of the weiners!

None of these characters actually golfed very well but we thought it would be worthwhile to show their lighter side after they have relaxed at the clubhouse! Warren Cross looking tolerably intelligent and handsome don't you think?


Ron Heywood really lets his hair down? when he finishes up at the 19th!


Ron Hamilton thought he would entertain the gang after the round! Thanks for the tutu Ron!



Phil Walls was really relaxed but had a hard time catching his bus on the way home!


Larry thought he would show us how to chow down but when it got really going he took on more than he could chew!

John Campbell is really really big and thinks pink is wonderful!


Arnie Daniels was just sledding on the way home!


It's too bad the camera couldn't catch a better picture of this one!


Pooch was so relaxed he thought he would give Arlene a call and she could pick him up off the bus!


Dave Hampton thought he had a cool round though the rest of us thought his hat was on sideways!


Dave and Lee May had a marvellous time and decided to sleep on it while the rest of us went home!


Charlie Molloy was going to telephone home for help but he decided to hang up instead!



Bruce Craigs said "Ain't I pretty!"





Bob Helfrich decided that looking like a deer in the headlights was pretty cool but the hat he wore home was priceless!

It was a great meal and thanks to the pro shop for the support they offered to us for the past two months!



Al Jakel went out and got himself styled sort of if you like that kind of look in an older guy!
